Dental Conscious Sedation
Conscious sedation is a method of dental sedation in which the child will be mostly awake and responsive. The child may be given a pill, inhale gas through a mask, get a shot in the muscle or receive a tranquilizer through an IV to reduce anxiety and discomfort during certain procedures. The level of sedation varies in each child so your dentist will guide and evaluate if your child is recommended to use this method of sedation.
