Laminate Veneer Procedures
Laminate veneers are custom-made slivers of tooth-colored material made mostly of porcelain that cover your front teeth. This technique helps your smile get a better appearance by covering imperfections of the teeth such as chips, gaps, stains and correct crooked teeth without the need of braces. The procedure usually involves removing only a thin amount of the enamel of your teeth. Then, the dentist takes impressions of the mouth and temporary veneers are then placed for the patient to wear while the permanent veneers are being made. They are put on over several visits and with care they will generally last 10 to 15 years.
