Wisdom Teeth

A wisdom teeth or third molars are the last teeth to erupt into the mouth, these teeth come out crooked or in a direction that is not pleasant, causing pain and misaligning for the other teeth. Even though, not everyone experience pain, dentists recommend extracting them to avoid future swelling around the gum, pain and headaches. This procedure can be done at the dentist’s office under local anesthesia or IV sedation and can take up to week or more to fully recover. Dentist will apply pressure to loosen the teeth from its socket, then he/she will make some small incision around the tooth and the wisdom tooth may be cut into smaller pieces before removal.
